well, here's a sneak peak of our '05 Supra Launch SSV that will be in the Phoenix boat show. It's going to be decked out with all JL speakers including 2 10" infinite baffle subs and the new JL amp, JL speakers in the inside and Fluid concepts rockstars sporting JL speakers as well. Special thanks to Jerry at Fluid Concepts for hooking this up with JL Audio making this the very first boat with the JL audio marine componets. I guess JL stands for Jerry Lembas. He managed to get this stuff prior to it being released!
I only have 2 photos now of the gear, install pics to come soon. Come see it at the Phoenix boat show.

Love the idea that everyone can get it now, however Mastercraft was shipping boats in July of 04 with the JL Audio in them. Very cool that you are changing your setup though.

JL audio has been around in boats for a long time, this is their new line of marine equipment. Just now becoming available to public.

Dan I know that it has been around for a very long time in boats, Mastercraft was the first, and only right now that I am aware of, to use JL as the standard speaker and amp set-up in a boat. Thats all I was saying man.

What they need to start doing is building boxes for speakers in the mold so you dont have to worry about building boxes and where to put them!!

Ed- that's not a bad call. We are curious how these will sound, they are supposed to be for an infinite baffle, so our first plan of attack will be constructing a kick plate to try the open air design, if that doesn't sound up to par we'll build a box behind that.

Randy- we are using the stock Kenwood MP3 head unit that comes in the Supras

Sorry, I forgot the rest of the pics, this thread is pretty weak until tomorrow when I get the rest of the pics and the finished install. We're taking plenty of photos.
