That 8 ft dive is amazing. How did you teach him to do that. My dog when his head is under its panic time.

Thanks.
I threw a toy of hers into the shallow end of the pool and it sank. To my surprise, she dove under to get it. I started gradually throwing it into deeper water and now she dives 8' down.

Pretty cool. I have a "Labrador Mount" too. I have mine mounted on the bottom of his chest using a customized Chesty mount. I like this POV too. My big lab Conan is around 95 lbs so I don't think his big ass is diving down very far. I have seen him dive after live ducks but don't think he'd dive aggressively for a bumper like that.... I could be wrong, he has been force fetched just never tried it.

too funny, My roommate was putting together a advertisement for gopro for his marketing class last night and we strapped my chestmount/gopro on our Chesapeake, it fit perfect! He also dives to the bottom of pools and dock jumps 15-20 feet. I will have to put some footy together.

I've been messing with Dogcam a little bit today. Trying to dial in camera location, angle, and all of that. Took a quick look online for a Dogcam vest and found one for $200... Modeling their location and angle with a cheapo doggy cargo vest deal we have laying around the house first.

Some of the test footage is pretty funny. Had the camera going flying off our dog at one point, funny to play back.

I just used a neo hunting type dog vest and the helmet mount for the GoPro. Seems to hold up fairly well and stays on.
The vest is around $39.99.

I got the cam to work pretty good after adjusting our cheapo doggy vest. Looking forward to trying it out some more. I also did some trail running with our dog chasing him around while holding on to the camera. Funny to play it back.

Got my Doggy Cam "mount" sorted. Kinda Ghetto (maybe Redneck is better)
Cheapo Cabela's neoprene doggy vest
Contour rotating mount
A piece of plastic I cut off the bottom of an old Monster Cable interconnect box I've had forever
Some exterior grade Liquid Nails adhesive I've had laying around for years

Cut a hole out of the vest, used the cut out to angle out the front of the plastic mount, glued things from the inside, it works like a charm.

I could do a cleaner job next time, not sure I'll need to. This works pretty good. We use the vest during winter night time walks and runs. Put a super bright flashing bike LED on the top of it. We live right next to >25 miles of trails, so our doggy gets tons of off leash running around time and the flashing bike light lets us see where he is off too.

That looks like a pretty cool mount. Mine uses the helmet mount ran through slots in the dogs vest.
