Is that piece in the middle of the rudder for small adjustments?

I thought I've hear of every fettish, but a rudder fettish.....?
Looks like Cory's boat is set up to compensate for wakesurfing list.
Kevin, didn't know Centurion offered gold plated running gear for 2012.
That ghost rudder is sweet! What's that propeller do? Isn't that a jet boat, with those ports on the transom? (if I had a dime for every time....)
Good Lord, look at the tube bends on that G23 trailer!
I like that Malibu boat lift...very natural looking. Definitely keeps the shoreline in a natural looking state.

It looks like bad casting combined with fatigue. From the oxidation on the shaft, it had some hairline cracks before snapping off during a routine turn.

Nearly all of the newew boats seem to have that style of rudder. I need to change the rudder in my '89 Supra and will be going with that style as it's the most common and affordable. It's a bit smaller than the factory one but people say it tracks well and can't really tell any difference at slow speeds. Is anyone running a different style of rudder than those pictured above?

Most rudders are made by the same company. They are a couple simple o rings and zerts for grease. The o-rings have worn out or dried out on a few of my boats over the years and needed to be replaced.
Side note: Epic boats have dual rudders.
