I need to to remove wax from my board to stick on tracktion pad. I dont hawe wax remover and no surfshop is 1000 miles around me. What should I use on epoxy board - some alcohol or what? Probably paraffin oil /coal-oil/ will dilute it.

Iron it with soaking paper is not good idea

Can you get mineral spirits there in CZ? It cleans up the wax quick and easy. I typically wash that down with soap and water afterwards.

if you mean denatured alcohol than yes. I use it for cleaning cured blank before glassing and for diluting liquid epoxy from glassing tools. I will try some stuff. Hope we get warmer at wekend so I can try to pop some ollies.

Actually mineral spirits is different than DNA, but no doubt, DNA will work also.

Leave the board in the just sun long enough to soften the wax, then pour hot over to further melt and rinse off. Wipe clean with warm soapy water after... Worked for me.

scrape it, then use goo off, or gasoline works as well if you have limited resources. then use windex to remove remaining residue, give it a light sanding (helps the adhesive stick better) and presto preped for traction.
