Ok, So with all the 2013 stuff coming out I am considering picking up a 2012 ronix bill witht he frank boots but I would like to get some more info on the board
I'm currently riding a byerly conspiracy, I like the edging on the conspiracy and the pop off the wake when I get it right, But I really don't like the locked in feel. I have a hard time breaking the board loose and I catch my toe and heel edge alot. I feel like the conspiracy is just too agressive for my riding level. Also, and this could just be my lack of skill behind the boat but to be able to get wake to wake consistently I had to up my speed to 24mph or I would get alot of slack on the rope when I edge into the wake.

Reasons I am considering the Bill, I think I would like to ride a board with a more skatey feel, removable fins is a nice feature. Ultimatelty what I want in a board is something thats loose on the water when you want it to be but edges well when you need it to. Has a good consistent pop off the wake. Something thats forgiving on catching edges, rides abit faster in the water without having to up the boat speed. Just an all around fun board thats not going to beat me up and intimidate me from trying new things

So with that being said do you think the Bill would be a good board for me? Do you have any other recommendations on other boards?

Thanks for your input!

My son has a '11 Bill and likes it. I have an '11 Harley that is loose, forgiving and has been consistent for me. I searched and read a lot before getting it, couldn't demo one. I really like the board and would recommend it.

I can't tell you much about the Bill, it is too small for me to ride. My son is more of a beginner, had a back injury last year so he isn't pushing it, but it has helped him and he is starting to do some jumping with it.

If you can demo, I think they are both good boards.

I have a 2011 Bill (same shape I believe as the 2012) that I love. I got it to ride at the cable park but the last time we were out behind the boat, I grabbed it just to see how it really rode. I didn't have any fins on it and the water was choppy due to a lot of boat traffic so my lack of board control had me sliding all over the place at times but I did jump with it a couple times and loved it. I was really surprised how effortless the pop was from it without a hard cut at all.

I believe you are correct on the '11 and '12.

My son would agree with you on the ease of pop without having to cut hard.
