Info on the 08 Malibu's

Anyone out there have info on the new Malibu boats? The sound packs on their website, are they worth it? Or is it better the order it empty and put in an aftermarket system?

After researching the options I ordered mine with the sound option 1. This gives you the blackbox headunit with main remote. And it is also integrated into the dash control panel. You also get 4 speakers.

The blackbox JBL unit gives you 3 pre-outs for front, rear and sub. I am adding 3 amps, 4 more cabin speakers, 2 subs and 4 tower speakers. Should sound good!!!

If you don't go with the Malibu blackbox then you have to mount a standard HU and remote.

I'm not a huge stereo guy, but I loved the stereo on my last VLX and this one is even better. I figured out how to turn on the subwoofer today and I think I loosened every screw and bolt on the boat. It's crazy!

That is awesome looking!!!!!!!!

I had an solid white '04 LSV and loved it. My '08 is going to be solid yellow. Can't wait!!!
