CWB Kink

I finally ordered my first board and bindings today. I've been using my buddies old board but the bindings cut my feet since I have bigger feet then him.
So I ordered a CWB Kink and Torq bindings!
Just thought I'd share.

This is the board (I believe this is a 2007 board so hopefully nobody gets in trouble for me posting this)

06 Flame 141 with an 07 graphic. Four new 07 shapes...the Kink is one of them. Mold will be finished this week.

I actually got lucky.. I ordered my first board and bindings about 2 weeks ago but the place I ordered them from didnt have the bindings in my size. After 2 weeks of waiting I decided I would call every website that sells CWB and see if I could find them somewhere else. I got lucky and found them but then I had a diffrent problem. They were sold out of the Pure and Flame boards but they did just get in 2 of the new boards this week. They hadnt even taken a picture of it yet but the guy did and emailed them to me within an hour. I liked what I saw so I placed my order.
So it was sorta crappy that for the past 2 weekends I have been having to ride my buddies board but I guess it worked out well since I am getting a 07 board now. If you dont believe me I will take a pic with the bindings on it and a piece of paper with my name on it sitting next to the board when I get it (I really really really really hope I get it Friday but I think Monday or Tuesday is more realistic)

so basically its a 06 board with 07 graphics?

That is fine for me since I was gonna buy a 06 anyways. Their shouldnt be any issues with warranty if something should go wrong witht eh board though should there?

You will not have any issues with warranty with CWB. They are in the top of the class as far as customer service is concerned....

CWB's Warranty center rocks. Just had an eyelit replaced within five days of it breaking.

I dig the new graphics. Everything in the line looks dope. The new Pure has steez, too. It's just going to be soo hard to decide.....

good stuff.. I live about an hour and a half away from where CWB boards are made so it should be pretty quick to get stuff there..
I cant wait to try this board out. I have been learning on a 6 year old board. Saturday was only my 3rd time out and I did a jump (sure I only got like 2 feet of air but I landed it!)..
I've been watching "The Book" so Monday I just worked on my edging but the water was pretty choppy. Saturday we are gonna be on the lake before 8 am already in hopes that we can get some nice smooth water. I've never had a smooth lake yet so should be interesting to see how I do

Sorry Mike, you're going to have to wait a bit for that. They'll be available in the next few weeks. Everything looks killer though. A nice departure from the staid designs of the past.

Can't do it Mike! I don't want to loose my privledges. I'm sure someone like Wake.au will let the cat out of the bag though.

Sickest looking decks I think are the Kink, the Faction, and the Pure.

Sweet graphics! Cant wait for the 07s.

I remember back in 01 or 02 when CWB had the worst graphics ever...they have improved so much.

That is a sick board Dave, Really sick, we got in some 07 Marius,Transcends and Dustin Shows is ridin his 07 Absolute and they are all really sick cant wait for 07 and No Mike I cant post any pics at this time.

CWB graphics rocked back in the day. This was my first board, 2000 CWB Slayer

heres another pic of the slayer, my wife rides it now because it is a 132 and when i bought it the guy convinced me it is the new wider style of boards and you want it a little smaller. kinda funny, a 132 for a 6'0 tall guy.
