just got this for my birthday, mounted on an ti1. any hints to this? as much as I would love a 70-200 l glass, this is going to be my wakeboarding lens due to the cost.

Stop it down when you can and it will be fine.

DJ, I shot with the 55-250 for about a year before I got my 70-200, it produced pretty good images for the price. For Wake from the boat your only going to be shooting 100 to 125mm anyway. 2nd what Rich said. Happy shooting.
