for you only $10,000 j/k this is what i found when i opened up this guys boat up, the poor guy had this done at some shop, i guess they take alot of pride in there work.. lucky me

Dude, how did you get that pic of my boat! LOL, I just spent about 40+ hrs re-wiring a majority of my boat due to a similar situation. The guy I bought it from had someone install the amps using twist ties from home depot, and they spliced from 1 line to three amps! Each ballast wire had about three different colors of wiring bridging the source to the switches etc. My suggestion would be at least a thirty pack and two weekends.

I'd make sure you have a charged fire extinguisher I had to rewire my boat this winter because of the chromosome deficient boat mechanic that added accessories at my dealer. Do one circuit at a time:-)
