Isaac is headed to SW Florida and my lily white but is right the middle of the "Cone of Destruction" Hah! The fear mongering is pitiful. Gonna be a rainy couple of days and the media is predicting an extinction level event.

Oh well, I guess I'll go wax the surf boards.

I am on a drill ship about 50 miles south east of New Orleans. We are already reviewing scenarios to unlatch and run away. Should be an interesting week. Looks like they have it tracking farther west now... I am supposed to go to Key West next weekend too...

We're not on the coast (Memphis) but we are bracing here and will most likely have to work the weekend and holiday.

Im listening to a Nola radio station and they are reporting max wind speeds measuring around 105 and its decided to stall right where its at. still mostly over water. which means its getting stronger. this should be fun.....

Standing down here in Memphis. Looks like it's tracking west and some of you folks in OK, AR and MO will be in the crosshairs. St. Louis was in a direct path with the earlier forecast. They too appear to be spared now. Geez! I've got the TV on in the office now and LA is getting swamped. Might need a boat instead of a quad McD for the 'skates!
