Nice Dave.... That's a sick vid. Those guys were working that place. What happened with the new slider?

Joe, Ant, Brinks - thanks!

Gordie - That's one of the original Rewind prototypes which the Olesiewicz's picked up in FL.

Aaron - The snap is from all the slack in the line (these guys are at least 150 feet out so it would be expected). There is a throttle control which allows you to control the speed, but it takes some practice to get it just right. Many Thanks to Tim Olesiewicz for running the winch all day! It's a lonely job, but he was there day after day!

Evan - Believe it or not after all that hard work the riders and Sean B put into building the big slider, it got pulled the following week. Actually all the sliders got pulled by the development company...

Dave: Your editing just keeps getting better and better. Incredible talent.

I love the shot where you zoom in on Arun's camera display, then disolve to the video of the same shot.

I drive by there every day & could see the sliders from the free way but i haven't seen them in a week or two.

yes a very sad day!

Even though I only knew this slider for 5 hours, it will truly be missed!

All joking aside, this slider was built by Sean B, Justin F, and Ricky A and took a better half of a weekend to build, no power tools (just a cordless drill) so you can only imagine how much fricken sawing had to be done.. It was hit once by Justin F and then torn down the following week...

Just another sad day in the life of a slider..

Man... That kills me. I guess it was inevitable that the sliders would be pulled sometime, but it sucks that nobody got a chance to hit that thing. It looked sick.

We need to round up some people and build out at the Delta again.

Justin hit it once, but because he was coming off his "3rd knee" injury we didn't want to risk it.

Definitely... (Mental note: bring a generator that works.. )

That sucks. It takes time to build just to get torn down.

I was looking at another video clip you had from Los Banos. Thats my friend dougs place & thats one of my other friends phil riding the honda 50. I was there a couple months before that when Ricky A. & Ricky Gonzales was there. They were hitting a slider that was by where the car slider was.

Edward - How's the slider situation looking in Los Banos these days? Any new ones up?

Kung Fu- I haven't been down there in awail. My friend Doug had knee surgery & is going to start riding in a month. So if there's not some new ones up yet. I'll have to go round some friends up & go help doug get some new sliders built.
