Thinking about buying wheels for our 3/4 ton suburban (2007 white), would like to see pictures of your 8 lug wheels on your tow vehicle and how they look with your boat hooked up.

No pics with the boat yet, but hopefully I will have the 5-spoke version in a 17" on the trailer this winter. These are a made by RBP and are a 20x10 8lug. I'm at work now, I may have a closer pic at home... (Message edited by ryand121 on January 13, 2010)

American Racing Mojave's with 285/75-16 E Good Year Wranglers . I know old school, but I like the big sidewall look, plus I like the added security and performance of tall sidewalls for off road. Love the Teflon finish, super easy to keep clean!

A close up of the above wheel... Best wheels I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot. Will never get raw polished aluminum again. I got these in '04 just before the black wheel craze took off, and I would get the strangest looks from people thinking I had four spare wheels/tires on my truck hahaha (Message edited by rio_sanger on January 13, 2010)

My favorite - Dub Big Homie 8. If you have 4wd (as I do), they have a different center cap which I didn't like so I never bought them. 4wd version is called Big Homie 8 HD.

I went with 22's since I saw alot of 20's. Plus, my truck is 2WD so I didn't want look like a 4WD when it's not. My truck was leveled by lowering the rear 2" instead of lifting the front 2" like most Dodges.

Twitch, nice set up. The tire to wheel ratio looks good on that truck. 18's on a 3/4 ton 4x4 are as big as I would go. Any bigger wheel, and the proportion of wheel to tire just looks wrong (to me) for a 4x4 that is to be used what it was meant for. BTW, what size tires are those? What a great truck! Last of the leaf spring front end GM's Thanks chris! Ive got 223k on mine, had it for 2+ yrs now. Its getting kept for a long time! Not only the last year of the Solid front, and that body style, but the ONLY year 3/4 ton burb of that era to get Overdrive....so back when it had stock tires on it, i could get 17+ mpg on the freeway with it. No so much anymore though...

Lots of great looking tow rigs and boats! I am thinking about an 18" black spoked wheel with chrome or aluminum outer wheel. Even though the picture is small I like the look of goboating's excursion wheel, just don't wanna go bigger than 18". Is it hard to find tires in 18" size?

They are 305-55-20 Nitto on the Dodge The Chevy was 325-60-18 Nitto I really like them they ride smooth and very little noise. That wheel looks good. I'm not big on the center cap though.

I believe that center cap is for the 6 lug version and the 8 lug version is the same bigger center cap as most other 8 lug wheels.

So you put down other's stuff/hobbies yet it looks as if you don't have anything of your own. WOW you are so cool. Do yourself a favor and educate yourself as to what a 3/4 truck is. By the way function always wins over fashion, you strike me as they type that thinks the other way around.
