For my business, I have 30 locations and need this setup for every location.
I need to buy a camera and printer combo. I thought that a Kodak Easyshare ($100) and a printer like the HP Photosmart A626 ($129) would do the job that I need.
I need a camera that can take a picture and print directly to a printer using a USB cable (without a computer). I do not want to have to take a card out of the camera each time to print from the printer.
It will be used in a doctor type office where you have to keep a picture on file of each person that walks in the door. The picture can be printed on regular white paper, but it needs to be about the size of a polaroid picture. We are using polaroid cameras still!!!
I tried to "test" it in one location but the manager ended up with a different printer and is telling me that she has to take out the memory card in order to print a picture to the dimensions she needs. If she tries to print it using the USB, it has a "set" size that it prints and she cant change it. Printing it directly from the printer allows you to change those settings.
Please let me know if a Kodak Easyshare camera and a kodak photosmart printer can accomplish what I need. If not, can you give me another starting point?
Thanks for the help.
