I know you guys like to jump all over the tige's, but lets hear from some owners not some bashers. Are these boats absolute pigs on gas? they seem like they might be due to its wider beam. I might be purchasing one shortly and just lookin for some input.
cheers

There are a few on here that will comment of a 22i but coming from the standpoint of a 24Ve, the gas mileage is very good. Some fellow Tige owners are claiming about 6 GPH for a rough calculation. You might also want to look at tigeowners.com for additional info.

Tige's are stingy on gas....no hook in the hull.

I know it goes against common knowledge because of the weight and beam, but it is true...

Honestly, I have no idea how I could calculate gas usage on my boat (2005 Tige 22i).

I would say that there are so many variables, how you drive, are you cruising with your wife, or pulling a rider with 12 friends, 4 coolers of beer, and 2k of ballast?

If I had to guess, and it is just a guess, I would say that Tige's are comparable with other size boats with similar engines..

I just put an offer in and they just accepted, so looks like it doesn't matter what gas/ nautical mileage it gets, im gettin it anyways!

You will be happy with that boat. Now, go register with tigeowners.com and find out more info on the boat. You will be glad you did.

See you over there
