Boarshort Sizing?

Anyone else notice that O'neill and Quiksilvers sizing of their boardshorts are different? It seemed to me that quik ran a bit smaller.

i have 2 pair of billabongs and they seemed to run a tad small. i kept them for a year and was just going to sell them on ebay, but i lost so much weight i finally fit in them.
