I came back from the Polar Bear so excited about the boats that I decided to buy a Supreme. The V226 was my favorite at the event. I found a Supreme that will work well for pulling behind our truck long distances on summer vacation as well as taking it to our local riding spots.
Charlie from Supreme and Jay T. here on WW (surfs his V212) were both very helpful with their knowledge of the boat and helping me decide if it would fit our needs. The boat is in WA and I am 8hrs away in ID. It's a new 2011 V212. Supreme no longer makes the V212 but it will make a fun surf boat and fit in our garage.
Here is a link to pictures of it:
http://www.pacificboatland.com/new_g...sp?pov=1986967

I can't wait till the 19th when we can drive to WA and pick it up.

I'm curious to see what you think, I loved the 226 but am curious how the 212 compares.

Ben, the V212 is a narrower, shorter hull with a deeper V than the 226. It weighs a lot less for towing. I know it won't be the same wave as the V226. Since I have summers off, we like to travel with our boat to N Id and MT to take friends and family surfing on some of the most beautiful lakes and rivers you can imagine. I needed both a really nice wave and not too big of boat for towing. So this one fit the bill. I plan to get out the drysuit and surf it, so we will get some pics of the wave.

Sweet looking boat sue congrats. Let us know how it surfs. If its anything close to the v226 like we had at the polar bear it will be great. Enjoy.

That is a really clean and nice looking boat Sue, I am sure with a bit of time and your love of a GREAT wave you are going to get that sucker dialed. Have fun!

Thanks Dave and Robert. It will be fun to dial in a new wave!
Old     (BenHolloway)      Join Date: Aug 2012       11-08-2012, 7:31 PM Reply
I knew it was shorter and narrower, but I didn't know it was deeper. I would like to have a small boat to fit in my garage but want a good wave as well. Since I know you have ridden the best I know I can trust your feedback. Congrats on the new boat!

Thanks Steve and Rob. We had so much fun at the Polar Bear with all you guys!
Yes, that Supreme will keep me smiling for sure Rob I can't wait to post pics of me surfing behind it. Just bought some 7 mm booties to wear with my drysuit, so I can ride that Supreme wave after we pick the up on the 19th.

Tony, Harold will have to buy lunch since I will be out of money! lol

Scott, glad you are coming to be my spotter. I had soo much fun in your new Tige last summer, that I had to have a new boat too It will be fun trading rides next summer.

Hey Scott, Now I get it!! it took me a second to realize that no one holds the flags in our boat since the are mounted on the tower. That way you can keep your hands warm and we can try out the new heater.

something tells me that joe won't have all that stuff transferred over that quickly.. I see that boat in the water soon...

gotta start working on adding another pump and ballast bag. I think eric will have a 750 left over that's almost brand new after we install the 2 enzo sacks he ordered on friday... hoping to start his install in 2 weeks. I'm almost done with mine..

oh ya, I saw my board today at chelsea's.. jeff did an amazing job on the pink color.. can't wait to see the artwork she's throwing down on it..

Tell Eric I am interested in the 750 bag if it will fit in my V212.

Thanks Charlie! I am so excited that I can hardly teach PE this week. I have been taking my students on "field trips" into my office to see the boat pics on my computer! LOL
We will pick the boat up the day after Thanksgiving and hope to surf the Columbia River before we leave Vancouver, WA. Boatland will winterize it for the drive home, only to have Joe unwinterize it when we get back to Idaho and get it in our garage. There is no way I can have a new beautiful boat and not ride this winter. Maybe I should live in AZ where it's warm!

Charlie, only 3 more days and that Supreme will be mine. We had to change the date to pick it up until Friday, due to out of town visitors for the holiday. What were they thinking coming at a time like this? I guess you can't blame them since they don't surf
Pics coming soon!

I don't have very much patience right now. Wish we could start summer all over again.
Scott, one weekend when it's not raining you will have to come ride in and drive the Supreme on Lucky Peak. Hope there is enough water.

call me fair weather

need a good 55deg day and we'll go out for a spin. these 40deg days are too cold for my old bones to be in a boat on the water..

I am hoping to surf the new Supreme next weekend. I tore my calf muscle several weeks ago and hope it will be up to surfing soon!
Will it ok to surf while we are breaking the engine in or do we need to put the recommended hours on the engine before surfing it?
Old     (wakebrdjay)      Join Date: Apr 2008       12-02-2012, 8:28 AM Reply
Sue,I know it's going to kill you but,I would break it in before you weight it down and run it listed. That way if there happens to be a problem,it can't be blamed on improper break in.

agreed. break it in properly and if I were you, keep a log of hours and usage in a small notebook. no warranty issues since you didn't buy it from dennis dillon. don't give them a reason to hassle you

need to come out and see it.

mine is going to tyrell for pics on monday for the graphics coming off then home to the garage and tucked away for the winter. stereo is done and came out amazing..

Ok guys we will do the proper beak in before surfing.
Scott can't wait to see the Tige with the new stereo and graphics. You will have to come out one weekend and see the Supreme.

Congrats on the new boat! Here's my 2007 V212 surf wake...Surfing at Bullards Bar
There's a few other wake riding videos on there too.

Thanks Dan I enjoyed your videos. Can't wait to make some behind my Supreme.
Lately we have been playing with the swim platform and ballast. It came with the extra large swim deck. We are thinking of raising it 4" to see if that will keep it off the wake. The other option is to get a 2011 or 2012 V226 surf platform. I had a deal on one but Charlie the rep., no longer works for Supreme. I think I can still get it after the first of the year when the owner comes back from vacation but not sure of the price or shipping cost.

Someone just told me Supreme was purchased by Centurion. Is that true? I didn't bother to read all 50 comments to see if someone already pointed this out.
