.we went to the delta this weekend and where we ride, surf the water depth fluctuates from 7' to 20'. the wake size decreases in half at 10' deep and we have to slow the boat down to even free ride. We tried it 3 different times and the same result every time. By the way, 25' maristar 800# in the trunk, 700# in the ski locker, 700# on the surf side and 500# lead on the surf side.3 people or 10 people in the boat doesn't change the wave much. 9.8mph in the shallow water and up to 11.3 in the deeper water. The wave is about 4.5' tall from the pocket but doesn't extend back very far. If the tip of your board (phase 5) is more then 5 or 6 feet back from the platform then you loose it.

You may already know this, but, we mainly ride Old River, near First Bridge. That's where you'll find a bunch of wakesurfers every night. It's for the most part 15-25' deep.
