Depends upon a number of factors:

What prop are you running now?
How much ballast in addition to stock do you run?
How many people are typically in the boat?
What is your typical riding speed?
What is your typical cruising speed?
What do you want the prop to do differently than your current prop?
What is the altitude you are running the boat at?

I use a Acme 537 on mine. I like the hole shot and ability to hold speed with full ballast, wedge and 5-8 people.

Take a look at this ...this should offer some direction.

This site recommends the 857, but I would also recommend talking with Karl with Board It Up... www.boarditup.com

14 inch x 18

Works well with lots of weight. Wynn has it on the camo bu.

Rich, I have to kindly disagree. I have a 14 inch diameter prop with a pitch of 18 now, and I have a hard time planing out - or getting out of the hole quickly. I know it's not the engine because I have a 350 hp V8.. The problem is the pitch...
I have read that some wakeboard boats are coming stock with a 17 pitch prop, and many owners are upgrading to a 16 or even 15.5. 15.5 seemed a bit much for me, but is recommended if you are planning on running more than 2000 lbs ballast and don't need much top end speed. I run 1750 lbs ballast now...normally a group of us to add extra weight to the boat, but still want to maintain a bit of the speed. That is why I will stick with the 537..
Garri, I re-read your post - you have visited the wakeside post - which recommends the 857... I recommend calling your dealer and asking their opinion.
When considering prices - check this link out.

My bad, his prop is the one listed at the bottom of this thread. 14.25x14 is the prop.

He rides with about 3000 pounds and a 8 litre in the rear.

Rich, that must throw one hellova wake!

Is that weight calculated with just ballast or including people? I run the 1750 now, and have another 750 that I havnt used yet. I have been thinking about it. - if his 3000 lbs is ballast only - how does he have it set up? I can understand why he has a prop wiht a 14 pitch!!

Garri, how is the riding in Russia?

We have had very good success with our 14.25 X 14 LC 1 1/8" XMP EDGE 4-blade on heavily weighted boats. It is a huge improvement over the 15.5" or 16" pitch propellers. Better acceleration and lower RPM at speed. Eric @ OJPROPS

THe boat is a 23 LSV with a 8.1 litre engine.

Sac in the nose (600lbs), I think 12 people give or take, sac on floor, huge cooler with beer, no wedge, MLS

very simple. O.J 14.25 x 14. if it can push gerry's boat, it can push yours.
