Cane somebody describe the proper technique for a nose press? For some reason I can only get a very small nose press and hold it for a second, max. TIA for the help.

Try lining up with a box or a wide flat rail square on. Hop on the rail 50-50 (Parrallel). Once you are on the rail, keep your chest up and start to push your lead hip forward past your lead foot and force the handle straight down to the nose of the board (keep the handle close to your body). Tail should start to float and the nose of the board should squeegy the water on the rail in front of it.

Hop flat and slowly shift your weight and push the handle at first, but once you find your posture you will hop straight into a press.

Good luck and have fun.

At the 1:00 mark Quinn Silvernale will show you proper nose press technique. Its all about finding that balance point.

Basically every single one at the cable.....

And the new rail you set up but I guess corrugated pipe isn't nose press friendly.

But seriously, I've looked all over the place and have never seen any how-to videos or anything. Plus, I've been sitting here from 7-3 everyday with nothing to do but watch Netflix since I have no students.

What's with the hoodies? Serious question. Does it help with warmth? Like just the level below heater top.

That pipe is so fun. Ollying on toeside is a lil scary. As long as your board is in a 50-50 position nose presses are doable on corrugated rails. I'd def get beck on one of those company boards you got. 50-50s and switch 50-50s feel so much more legit on that pipe than on flat boxes and wider rails. I'm def not good at nose pressing but the way I try them it's almost like an illusion. I just bend my front leg and straighten the back leg. Handle low is def key also. Luker, what ya been up to man?
