I saw that MC has colored inlays for the tower arms on their website, and was curious on how to remove the stock ones. Thanks a lot.

Peel them out...they're just stuck on with double sided tape

Yep. Thinking about pulling mine out - some sun fading.

I'm thinking about doing them in red to match the X-Star logo. What do you guys think?

No, that is not how the look would change. The black part of the insert would be red, not the mastercraft name

Robert, thanks man, that looks awesome. I got to looking around on the website, and those inlays are kinda pricey for what they are. I wonder if you prepped them right, how they would look just painting the stock ones. Any ideas on what paint I should use if I go that route?

I feel painting would be waaaay cheaper. If there that easy to get out, painting shouldnt be a prob. I never realyl looked close at mine, Are they plastic??

Anyone just taken the inserts out, and how does that look?

I also see site has silver ones, which I guess would be close to that look.

Go to mastercraft by design and you can put any combo together with pics.

Well, after checking out that TeamTalk thread, it doesn't look like painting them is an option...

Could you go buy some red plastic, and cut it to fit???

Possibly...or maybe since the inlay is smooth, I could get a sheet of red vinyl from a sticker shop, put it on the black inlay, and then cut the MC logo out of the vinyl. It would be cheap too. I guess I could try this, but I won't see my boat until the end of the month. I'll let you guys know what I come up with...
