I have two Inland Surfers and don't have any experience with wakesurf board racks. I worry that running with the boards in the racks will damage the boards. Is this an issue? Are there any that are better than others? Thanks in advance.

So long as the boards are secure, and there isn't crazy excess pressure from a cord or clamp, they'll be fine.

My blue fits in the Dbot 5 nicely and the Black fits in a regular wake rack

Check these out. Overhead like a roof rack, look very solid and secure. There are pics in the last issue of Wakesurfing Magazine as well. www.endlesswavesurfracks.com

I ended up picking up a couple of these from onlyinboards... look pretty darn nice. They hold 2 wakeboards and 1 surfer each. http://www.onlyinboards.com/ski-boat-accessories/krypt-combo-signature.html Hope they fit above my built-in racks... guess I'll find out.

My Monster Tower wakeboard racks hold my Inland Surfer 4-skim and a Hyperlite Broadcast no problem. There are little plastic inserts that squeeze the board, I had to trim them down just a bit with a knife. Also remember to look for a rack that has plastic collars to protect the tower. The DBot5 combo rack does not. I had an Ariel brand mirror and it really sucked.

Checkout Niceracks. I believe they are the only one who makes a double surfrack.

I just got a nicerack from Wakeoutlaws and it's freaking awesome. Fits two boards perfectly. I've had others and this one is a way better design.

Do the niceracks come with some type of padding in between the racks and the tower? If not, did you put something in between?

The racks have padding on the top and bottom of both forks. The padding isn't glued in, it sits in a nice rail system. The glued ones come apart over time. It's a very nice rack.

DIY wake makes a good surf rack. I fit my LF and Inland Red Tide in it without any issue. If you only want to use one board though, it's best to wedge a PDF in there to keep it from moving around. This isn't an issue when your are towing someone, but if you are cruising around I wouldn't leave just one board in the rack.

What do you mean when you say you can put them on single rack poles? I think it means that you only need one post to secure the rack to. Is this correct?

Has anyone had any experience with Skylon wakesurf racks? Heard anything good or bad?

I love my surf racks from www.wakeair.com - the best quality I have seen by far. Mine are two years old and look brand new - too bad I cannot say the same for my Skylon wakeboard racks

So you have wakeair surf racks, and Skylon wakeboard racks, and you don't like your Skylon wakeboard racks?? Can you give me some more information as to why you don't like your Skylon racks?

I have the skylon wakesurf rack. Works good for me. Plenty of room, holds the board tight with no bouncing around. Only downside is the way they mount to the tower. They can be mounted at almost any angle.

The Skylon racks are totally pitted and look like they have been in salt water and I live 3 hours away from the coast and the boat has only been in fresh water. Also the straps on the "S" Rack are garbage - the ends fall off in one day and they are a pain in the a** to hook in.

TQ - I had the same problem with my racks pitting and I am no way near any salt water. I called Skylon and one of there reps tried to punk me by saying I wasn't cleaning them right, etc.. I called his boss and told him what was said and how I was treat, along with calling my boat manufacture and I got a new set of racks in the mail a few weeks later. Also, the guy that tried to punk me... No longer there. They are aware of the pitting problems. Call them if they are still under warranty.

Is it a good idea to put your board bag on while your board is in the surf rack. I read about the sun delaminating boards, etc....What about just protecting the board from getting beat up in general in regards to the bumps, etc...from the boat.

Endlesswave Racks are the BEST I have ever owned. the detailing, and machine work are flawless. well worth the $399.00 price tag. And did I mention you can stack up to 3 surf style boards on one rack ?

Endlesswave surfracks are by far the best racks to secure your fiberglass boards. Whether you have two cross bars or one, no problem. Multiple boards, no problem.

I am seriously considering endless wave myself. (I currently have the double Nice Rack). The reason I am considering the switch is because I have one surf style board (shredd stixx) and one skim style board that is very thin but very wide (trick boardz). Will the Endless wave rack fit them both on one rack?
