Considering a Vi24 (or they also have a Vi22). What's the consensus about the Vi series?

that ri series looks wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better, just sayin. Price is a factor and i've never looked into the difference but I think the ri is one everyones going to be looking for used if youre thinking about selling it down the road. I don't have hands on with either, but i'm friendly with one of the main engineers and see him testing the ri's on a lake frequently. The ri is the only centurion i would ever consider myself. we have a 1998 centurion elite direct drive as a spare family boat anyone can use and that thing is the biggest pile ever created. our whole family would never own another centurion because its so poorly built. however, the ri is a bad mamma jamma and knowing who was behind it that came from malibu, then mb, then supra and now centurion i wouldn't hesitate to own one. When he got to supra they went to another level and same with centurion.

I had an Ri217 and an Fi23 and i honestly liked the Fi better. Haven't seen a ton of Vi's except at the boat shows.

So what is it about the Vi that makes it less desirable? I know all about the Ri and a couple friends have Fi's (21 and 23) and love them.

Thanks

its just a shallower lower profile boat is my understanding.. maybe targeting a lower price point. less materials less cost would be the assumptuion.. i don't know if they changed the running surface at all vs the others or not. The lesser freeboard reminds me of flatter bottom boats. I personally have not ridden in any of them but just based off pictures the v in the ri is super deep and i imagine that thing is amazing... or maybe not idk but it looks nothing like a wake boat we're used to from a running surface perspective

Vi has the same running surface as the fi and ri biggest difference is the shorter top cap. It is the centurion entry boat
