My girlfriend and I just moved to Washington, NC this week and are desperate to find the wakeboarding community..we have seen a few inboard/outboards with aftermarket towers cruising up and down the Pamilco river but we haven't seen any true wakeboard boats yet. I know there is a cable park not too far away in Greenville, but I prefer to ride behind a boat. Does anyone know where to ride or who to talk to about riding?? Obviously we will pitch in for gas, food, drinks, etc and we know our way around a boat. I have been riding behind and driving a Mobius LSV for five or six years so its not like we dont know what we are doing.

Send some info my way!

Raleigh has a great community, but it will obviously be a little bit of a drive for you.

I've been told people ride the tar river between greenville and washington. I've been wanting to get up there and ride that stretch of river.

I have seen a bunch of recreational boats cruising North of the Rt17 bridge. I always thought that the Tar River would be too narrow in most places to ride..

I lived in greenville for a few years.......go pirates

besides the cable people ride the tar which just doesn't jive well with me. Too many bodies etc.

Feel free to roll up to raleigh and ride.
