there was a thread for a 2005 enzo for like 27k or something, but you need some luck to find a deal like that.

moomba LSV. i paid 20k for my 03 LSV. they switched to the larger newer hull in 06. its the same hull as the 2012. if you can find a 06 for 25k your golden.
would be lot newer boat than the same price range from the big 3 and have alot more modern amenetys and styling.

This is a good deal for the Centurion.

Got mine for 21K, but it was in a little rough shape and very little equipment, so 25K is perfectly fine. Wakes are great on the Avalanche. Huge surf wake and great wakeboard wake.

Thats a lot of wants without much cash for this time of year. Here is the best I could find in my area that meets all your wants but is still over your price range. You might be able to get the price down some but you would still need to up your budget

With all of your wants/needs you have eliminated most everything that can be had for under $25k. Unless you find a great deal on something, you will more than likely need to spend more money or be more open on your wish list.

TIGE 22v has a good amount of freeboard and can probably be had for 25ish if you find a good deal

I wouldn't look at any specific brand...Find the cleanest, biggest boat you can....For me in that price range, it was a 2003 Sanger V230!

Hey Marit,

You are pretty negative on here for asking for peoples opinions when your initial post is a REALLY broad range...Almost every reply is I DONT

Maybe do a little more research on here and other brand specific forums and then go on a online classified, pick your area, price and pick one out since you seem to know what you want....

Dude that is a flat bottom dingy on Tahoe. Not a good Tahoe boat AT ALL.... Unless you only go out midweek at 6 am?

how about a 1999- 2002 super air nautique

Again not a good rough water boat. Jason just posted the equivalent of that boat and you didn't like it.

Find out what you want and do your research before coming on here and rejecting everyone who is trying to help.

is tahoe that bad, never been there, but a bu vride 05, 06 or an 02 to 04 vlx would be a great boarding boat, not a good surf boat, but pretty deep free board. and you may be able to pick one up for 25k good luck
Old    Hydrodynetahoe            06-03-2012, 7:23 PM Reply
the boat will also be used at lake berryessa

tahoe can get 3'-4' swells rough on the regular. Co-worker took 6 or 7 over the bow in a row on tahoe last summer in his 05 vlx. G23 would be money on tahoe. For sure. Same for sanger v237, mb twb23. I don't think it's possible to have too much freeboard.

A pre-05 vlx or 05-08 vride would be a very scary proposition on tahoe.

The OP wants to tow it with an MDX, so add that to his list of impossible variables.

sorry the mdx one is for my brother who owns part of the boat we have now

If you looking for something thats good for choppy water, the best hull that will cut through it is a V shaped hull

these boat consist of: Sangers, Centurion avys, new MBs(older ones are round), calabria, some tiges,i think epic, nautique 230... (there mabye a few more)
here is a really good website with multiple boat companys and there models, idk if it will help cuz there kinda newer boats-->http://wakeboardingmag.com/boats/cat...-boat-reviews/
i think your best bet is a sanger or a centurion.

how about a 2001-2002 mastercraft x10 or x30
Old     (Bam6961)      Join Date: Apr 2011       06-03-2012, 10:57 PM Reply
They both have about the same hull which is rounded, this is similar to malibu wakesetters. The x10/x30 wont cut through chope as well as a v hull but will be better than flat hulls like nautique 210s/super sports. So basically it will be inbetween.

how about a 2000-2002 malibu wakesetter vlx or wakesetter lsv

The best wake boat for under $25K is your buddy's boat. I promise that someone is in your area that needs someone for their regular crew... Join them and pay gas!
