Hi dave, yes, this is a place called "Los Reyunos", it is near a city called "San Rafael", in Mendoza providence, Argentina.
The water comes from ice on the montain, so it is as clear as you can get it to be.

I hope we can repeat this trip sometime next year, we are not used to cover this distances for riding since we have a really big river in Rosario where we live. So it was kind of difficult to make this trip because of all the preparation it envolved, and thus my friends leaving their families at home.

That place looks sweeet!!

But, I think something is wrong with your swim-step. Shouldn't it be about 3-5 inches under water?

we always have 4 fatsacks filled to the neck and the swim-step gets under water... but not in that lake... the water was so different... the board slided easier, and the boat was harder to keep speed constant.

it is fresh water, but has no sediments in it, just minerals from the mountain.

Buzz: Some countries format their dates differently. So it is read, the 11th day of February, 2005. It looks funny to us, just as I am sure our date format looks funny to them! My digital camera has the options to choose the format.

Luciano: Very cool pictures!!! Looks like you all had a wonderful time!
