We have the water/temp gauge on our Malibu V-ride but being Canadian I have no idea about fahrenheit temp. Is there a way I can change my gauge to read in celsius. Tried reading the manual and playing around but could not figure it out.

bring a calculator... subtract 32 multiply by 5 divide by 9

If there is no way to get it to read in Celcius, the easiest conversion calculation is:

minus 30 degrees and divide by 2

"minus 30 degrees and divide by 2"
This will not work. You have to do it the way Brett said if you are using math. I would think there is some way to switch it. Ill check my book and reply later.

Ballpark formula should be mult. the celcuis reading by (2) and add 32.

Exact fomula = mult. the celcuis reading by 1.8 and add 32.

"minus 30 degree and divide by 2" will work but will only give you a ballpark, not exact.
Thanks for playing.

Tanya - kinda ironic since it's a canadian product isn't it. You could try calling PP directly, they are usually very helpful. Maybe we could get the speedos to indicate in kilometers too. See you on tour

I just looked through the manual. For lake temp readings to be in Celsius the speed has to be changed to kph, but I couldnt find how to change that. If somebody else knows how to change the speed reading units, then you would be set.

So you even said in your own statement that it doesnt work.
