Has anybody here ever built their own slider. I want to build one for this summer, and I was looking for any hint's or tips to help me build one. Also post some pictures if you have any. Thanks

Yeah, I built this A-frame one day. I was bored so I decided to build it. It only took 20 mintutes to build, tractor work and everything

I'm just doing something as simple as flipping an old row boat over and throwing two barrels underneath it, nothing too crazy but it's a good way to start small get comfortable and move up.

yea we put a nice slidder on our lake in front of
his house and rode it hard for about 13 months before the neighbors and big power company removed it for us. I have some info to share before you spend time and money. First you can't just build it and expect everybody to be ok with it. The are rules with each lake and there are loopholes for rules, but you gotta first go through this experience to know.

quick question,
If sliders areillegal on my lake but swim platforms are not, in your opinion, should they be able to say anything about a swim platform that 'happnes' to have a flatbar or a plexiglass top?

Some bodies of water prohibit you from driving a boat or wakeboarding so many feet away from another vessel.
