So I just got my new 08 X-star and I hate it. I think the wake is awful and the features on the boat just arent what I had hoped. Should I sell and switch to Malibu or Air Nautique? I dont like the way the X-star handles, and I am disappointed in the level of quality in the upholstery.

Maybe you should of got a seadoo wakeboard boat. I hear those are the best. If you want I will trade you my Moomba for your Xstar straight across. Your profile says you live in the NE US. Have you even wakeboarded behind the boat?

Sure, switch to any brand you want, but if you use the same method of shopping that you used to choose the MC, then you will continue to be disappointed with YOUR choice. Sounds like you didnt even sit in an X-Star, more less sea trial one before purchasing, if so, you got what you deserved. $.02 I hope you didnt listen to he Coke-bottle-thick owner-goggle wearing MC biased popular opinion of this site and buy a MC because they all said MC is the best boat made out there Good luck!

I just got a Ferrari f430, and it totally blows. Seats are uncomfortable, and the exhaust is too loud.

The x-stars wake is horrible? and the interior sucked? Where do you work cause your 18 buying an x-star? Or mommy and daddy bought it? When I rode behind an xstar I loved it the wake the interior. everything. Im not biased cause my dad has a centurion which I love. And If mommy and daddy bought it then I wouldnt be bitching. They bought it they pay insurance, gas, maintanence, etc. Many people out there would kill if there parents even had a boat. and you got an XSTAR! PS. I second the seadoo boats. They are BA. Make sure if you get one you doing huge circles with it, with a tuber on the back. (Where is the shoot me in the head icon?)

Did you ever think that the hydroslide board with split bindings may be your problem? Upgrade your setup, sac that boat out, pick up some females and quit your damn b*tchin. There are so many people on here that would kill to have an X-Star. So if you are really that unhappy, then have mommy and daddy donate it to the wakeworld charity and write it off on their taxes. Cause its obvious that you don't need it.

Let me guess, you work for a Malibu or Nautique dealer, but there is an MC dealer near by that crushes you.

Dam you guys are harsh lol I had a bad badddd case of this when I got my star you all know that story. I think your over exaggerating the bayliner to xstar thing thats a LITTLE bit of an overstatement. My dad has been disappointed in the quality of stuff in some areas but mainly just the customer service. Good customer service is a must in a company, and mastercraft is so far from good customer service, Idk about all you guys but we had it so bad. They send out those stupid surveys asking "are you pleased"? my dad sent it back with the most negativity I have ever seen. No one called... no one emailed.... no one wanted to take a few minutes to call a new MC owner, and especially on a boat that cost 100k, and check in to see what their problems are. I love my boat and the guys at the dealer, Darren and Trevor, made up for the poor customer service at MC they were really good to us. But if your parents bought it and they're happy dont b*tch just be grateful, I'm plenty grateful, i never thought i'd even have a wakeboard boat. My $.02 take it or leave it.

why would you buy a boat wthout even taking it on a demo first. The only thing it does is let you see how the wake is, how it handles, and how the boat is overall. you probably dont have i weighed right, Ive ridden many of x stars and ive never had a crap wake on it ever. you just gotta know where to put the weight. at the right speed its clean with just stock ballast. try like 70-75 ft back and around 23-24, its prime

I love our x-star, but my pops just checked out the epic factory and for the most part really likes them. They've still got some good flank stake though man. There good boats ppl just have their own opinions.

You are all sorry little losers. Isaiah dosen't even own a boat, much less give a crap what he rides behind. For starters he ride an LF team not a hydroslide. The funny thing is i bet he posted this to mimick the ungrateful riders on this site. I laughed at how many of you got pissed and thought it was real. LOL. Please give the kid a break he is stoked just to ride behind the boss's 97' aztec coyote, if any of you know what that is?
