Finally!

Some of you might remember my post last year asking for tips to help my boy land his hs backroll. (He would always let go the handle)...Well perseverance sometimes pay off and after taking a lot of falls to try and master this trick, i'm proud to say he has finally done it! Here is a before and after video of him landing his 1st ever hs backroll...awesome!

Awesome Great job. What's next? My son also has been trying for a HS backroll, he is getting closer, I am excited.

I bet you are, there's nothing like the feeling you will both have when he lands it...good luck! What's interesting is after trying to land this trick for some time and out of frustration, he threw a ts backroll one day and landed it 2nd go, it panned out he was way more comfortable with the ts rotation so it pays to mix it up.

What's funny, the day he landed his 1st hsbackroll a girl grom on the boat who learnt the trick a week earlier was landing them during her set. My boy rode 2nd, threw the trick and landed it 1st go...hormones?...go figure lol! From here he will be working on getting his heel 3 solid and learning a toe 5, tantrum, roll to revert and grabbing everything?..we'll see.
