I am 180lbs and the cut-off for the Liquid Force Fish 125 is 170lbs. I would like to have this board as second board, as something that is totally different and can spin and turn up buckets of water when I carve! FUNN!! Will the extra ten lbs over the weight range make a difference? I ride about 22mph when I ride.

you should be able to find a 129 on closeout somewhere. youll be much happier with it, unless youve ridden the 125 and have fallen in love with it.

What do you think the difference will be? I mean this is my second board, I have a LF ps3 137, so I want something that would be very different from that. You know what I mean?

I ride the 137 Fish and love the board, but I weigh around 200 and I am 6'4" so I feel like I need the extra length and stance width. I think it would be more of a center of gravity and stance width question for me. The 125 may lend itself to digging the nose in and having some hard falls out the front.

True, I don't know I just don't want to get to close to the size of my 137.

Grant, I ride the LF 139 Trip and I have ridden both the 125 and 129 LF Fish and I like the 129 better, still feels short without digging the ends, great pop and easy to spin. I am about 160 lbs so I can't imagine you being 180 lbs riding the 125. Good luck with your decision.
