I got stuck in a pair I bought a couple of years ago. I had to cut myself out of them. I e-mailed hyperlight, but no reply. I went back to slip ins after that.

I've got two pair that I've been using for 2 years. I've had two wires break during that time and on one wrap the wire guide came unsewed. Other than that, they fit nice and snug, are super padded, and go on and off easy enough. On the downside, they are also pretty heavy.

The dial fell off one of 05 lymans but luckily it was in the boat and I found it and popped it back on. Its a bit loose now, hopefully it doesnt fall off in the water.

I got Belmont boots Christmas 2004 and used them for the 2005 season. When I tried to use them this Spring
both boa knobs were practically completely unturnable. I used the little boa tool and tried
to take the
boas apart to see what's going on in there, but both boa systems are seized and won't come apart.
What pieces of crap. And even when they were functional I didn't really like them. I felt
like they'd
loosen-up and require frequent retightening. If I can get the "new" Hyperlite to repair
these things
they're going right on ebay.
