So i have a 99 air nautique the vinyl is in rough condition accept for the back that we just got redone, the speedometer dosnt work and its just an overall old boat. There are only about 275 hours on it so i was thinking of fixing it all this winter all new vinyl, put a tower on it, speakers racks, do the sound system, get a wrap or paint job and a new cover. I just wanted to know if i were to sell the boat and put that towards a newer boat would it be more worth it than just dumping all this money into it? How much could i realistically get for it, and is the design good enough where i am going to be able to make a monster wake? (fat sacs) I know its a lot bout i really need some input.
Thanks guys, Mike

Your boat has the same hull as the super air nautique 210 up til 2006. Yes it will throw a meaty wake with a floor full of sacs. From the sounds of it, your boat has been neglected... we'd need pictures to determine price but if it needs a full interior among other things then the money you spend may increase your selling price directly, but you wouldn't make a profit. That being said, there is no reason you shouldn't make it nice, keep it nice, ride it hard and then when you go to sell you'll probably get your money out of it...

rule of thumb... you never get your money out of audio. you can put 6 grand worth of stereo in a boat (or car) and not see a penny on your investment. speedo, vinyl, gel coat, and carpet.... this is where you will see a return
