I don't have the manual for my perfect pass. Last day out, it wasn't holding any kind of MPH reading. At some times it would just bounce all over the place and other times it was reading 0 when I was clipping along at 20. Any ideas? I just sprayed some WD40 on the wheel, but wondering if I can do something else before I get back on the water.

make sure the axle on the paddle wheel isn't bent.

Not sure how your PP was installed, but I would check the connection for the PP speedo feed wire (thin green wire in 07). If your PP uses a factory paddle wheel, the PP speedo wire may be spliced to the feed wire from the paddle wheel to your speedometer. These splices can fail over time giving you erratic or zero PP speed readings. You can check by pulling or looking behind your gauges and making sure all your connections are tight.

I have always found PP super helpful and easy to get hold of and you can do a google search to get their numbers.

Do you have the PP with the servo? They had some problems with those and there is a free warranty fix. I had the same problem and since it's been fixed, it's dead on all of the time.

That's probably the servo model. They've gone to an electronic system now. Our '06 had the servo that needed to be upgraded.
