how much leakage is normal. We park the boat overnight and are bilging it out the next morning! How much is normal? We empty water tanks and bilge before we park it. then in morning engine compartment fill up. 04 malibu wakesetter!

Check the prop shaft seal, it will start to wear out and let water in continuously.

yea...try to find where it's coming from. i had a '98 sunsetter that started leaking in 2002 where the prop shaft exited the hull. my packing started leaking quite a bit also....more than it should have.....but that only happened when prop was turning I think. anyway, fittings comes loose, seals get dried out....shouldn't be a big deal. just try to isolate the leak and you're done.
