I have an 01 supra sunsport 22 ssv (basically a launch) and am trying to dial in the surf wake. the owner put 2 seperate trim tabs on the boat, instead of the one in the middle, which allows me to push one side of the boat down. im having trouble getting a big wave that is consistent, it is either too tall and hard to actually whip and trick on it, but the sweet spot is big; or too small of a sweet spot but easier for 3's. i have the stock ballast, which is around 800 in the front i believe and im guesing about 300 in the back right compartment? i also have a twin water bed when there is not enough people, and fill that about halfway up in the middle of the boat on the side. Since everyone is always in the back do i need more weight up front? is there anyone else with my boat that can help with their surf setup? also anyone who has a sub in this boat? where did you put it? im having trouble mounting both my amps and also finding room for the sub. thanks

You need more up front to push more water. This will make it bigger but more rampy and less peaky. Stock bag up front was a 600. You need to swap it out for a 19x19x88 1150lb that goes in the 24SSV. You can order it at any shop that carries Fly High. Take the 600 bag from up front and put it on one rear side and order another to match the other side. Use you 300 to put on the seat when your short on crew. Strange set up on the wake plate - I would love to play around with that.

Hey Show whats you take on the wakeplate here.

You might want to ask in the wakesurfing thread. There is a ton of knowledge over there.
