I'm kinda disappointed in this scratch off base idea. I’ve worn away most of the scratch off center of my board, but the front and back end still have the yellow covering. This causes inconsistencies when I ride on a rail. Sometimes it catches when I slide from one surface to another. Anyone else feel the same way?

I was also hoping to find information on how to remove the whole scratch off base at once so the base is consistent. Anyone know how to do this?

Isn't it obvious? Do more nose and heel presses!!!

Make sure you take your fins off...that'd keep that top layer on in the nose/tail. I've ridden my buddies phoenix s and he has quite a bit scratched off and I didn't notice a drag change on features...

Yea, never use fins. I try to hit more nose/heel, but you do more scratching when you land hard on an area. Most dont land hard on features on the tail heel. I think this is why the middle area gets the most scratch.

What does it smell like when it scratches off?
