looking for a new board coming off of a LF substance with alpha boots. Intermediate rider, Any suggestions looking at the following, all good deals.
Slingshot response / PB Floyd or D2
Ronix Viva / Kia CT
Byerly Assault / Pro
Other suggestion or stick with LF?

The substance used to be Shawn Watson's pro model, you would probably love the new Watson models

I was gona say a similar thing as Benji Trogdon.
If you liked the substance then you may very well like watsons newer models i.e. watson classic, the current watson, or even the hybrid watson.

Nothing beats demoing, but i personally know how hard it can be to demo, so asking around and researching like you are doing is the next best thing.
if you can tell us what you liked or did not like about the substance AND/OR what you hope to find in a board or a style of riding you have/ want to develop this may help us give better suggestions. Otherwise you gona get a huge list of boards that everyone else loves (i am biased to slingshot so that would be my choice but maybe not yours).

Demoing boots is a bit easier than demoing boards. you can try boots on in the store, but you cant ride a board in the store. try a few boots on if possible and find something that feels and works good. boots that you like is very important.
