used boats

I'm looking to purchase a used boat. I can't decide which one. Wake is probably my #1 priority along with quality, fit and finsh and looks of course. I usually ride with a friend in his 03 SANTE with lots of weight and really like that wake, but I kind of want something different just because. I've been looking at:

02 Super air
02 malibu VLX
02 x-star.

My problem is that I have not ridden behind any of these boats. I would like to hear from someone who has ridden behind more than one of these boats weighted down. Anyone who owns or knows something about any of these boats please let me know your thoughts or comments. thanks

Three good choices. The 02 SAN will be the same as your friends. If you like the wake on that, but don't want a SAN the x-star would be more similar than the bu. The wake on the SAN is more vert than the others.

Ive been in all three and there all great boats. Each boat has its own enduring quality IMO. I like the SANS wake best but it has a small interior. The VLX has the biggest interior but my least favorite wake and the MC is somewhere in the middle of both on wake and interior. You cant go wrong with any of these boats and it will probably come down to boat condition-$$$-and included accessories. Test drive test drive test drive

If you like the SAN wake you should stay with that, because it is very unique compared to other boats.

does any one have any pictures of these wakes. especially the x-star/x2. I know what the san will be like, but not the malibu or mastercraft. The nearest place to test drive any of these is at least an hour and a half away. I really need to plan a trip before the lakes get any warmer. thanks.
