Moomba lsv Subwoofer info please help

About to order the factory enclosure without the sub for my 05 mobius lsv.Can someone tell me the deal with this thing dealer told me it just i piece and its not enclosed.Is this true? How does it mount? What size sub?

It is just a flat piece of thick plastic(1/2 0r 3/4) with a free air sub.

well i orderd just the flat piece no sub. I have never heard a free air sub before. Any input on those? I cant imagine them sounding very good

They do not sound good. I will be taking mine out very soon. With that said if you want a free air sub. I will sell you the Kenwood out of my Supra for $40.00 plus shipping.

well its a good thing i just gave skier's choice my info then and have not paid for it yet.The only reason i wanted to go factory is because i have no clue where i can get a box built for under the dash

i would do it myself it would be nice if i found someone on here that built one for a 05 lsv and had the dimensions

In my old Supra I had a pre-fab wedge style carpeted box. I had it in there for two seasons and no problems when I traded it in. Not the cleanest look but worked good.
