So my girlfriend is looking to get a new board, shes 5'11" about 130 lbs (but dont ask her!) Im thinking around a 138-139? would a 137 be too small? it seems like most of these women boards only go up to 136. Any input appreciated!

My GF is 5'11" and I bought her a 138 2009 Watson. She loves it and it is a perfect size for her. Grizzly sports has a great deal on them right now. I think I got mine for about $230 shipped. A 134 may be a tad short but its personal preference. She was riding a Hyperlite premier 142 and likes the watson much better.

If she likes pink go for a 138 Ronix Bill.

She could ride a smaller board but with her height I think she'd be much more comfortable on a 137-139

My girlfriend is about 5'9" and ride a 134 and seems to like it. She is around 125-130 so I would think a 137 would be just fine, stance wise you are looking as less than an inch difference between the boards.

my wife really likes her Jett, same shape as the Witness I believe. I liked it too, just a little too small for me

I am a male. That being said I rode the Ronix Coy for a season with absolutely no shame. I got a lot of crap for it, but it is a sick board, and I recommend it to any female.

I think to get a really good idea of what board would be perfect we would need pictures of said girlfriend... in a bikini. :-)

I ended up getting the LF Melissa for my fiance and I have ridden it many times. It is like a softened up Watson. I love it. It has a softer flex pattern. It is one of those boards that give you that special feeling the first time you ride it. Highly recommended. Edges are softened in between you feet for forgiveness. Big spine down the center. Amazingly plush boots that fit real womens legs.
