Starting preliminary design for a houseboat with a deep hull, huge ballast and huge horsepower for wake surfing on the ocean or outer San Diego bay. Prototype is 1/24 scale. Measuring stick on the left is 2" = 4 feet. The white water will be 4' high with wave face of at least 5 feet. Houseboat will be 35' with a 14 to 15 foot beam. All engineered of course.

Just wait until the whiny wakeboarders catch wind and start saying how bad you are going to destroy the lake.

Thanks for the comments guys. I will NOT be launching this on any lakes. Hope to find at least one partner. This will be a surf trip destination where you can sleep right next to the surf break. No crowds like at any decent spot in CA. Mile long rides and endless barrels. ITS FUN TO DREAM! I will post pics of my next prototype and, eventually, the finished project.

I would be interested in a conversation about helping you with your houseboat dream.
I wakesurf in San DIego year round, 3 times a week.
