I picked up a used set of 8" Dbot 5 pearls for my bro for Christmas at what I thought was a smoking deal. Truth be told they are as much for me as they are him. My question is has anyone heard of these or have some?? if so what are your thoughts?? also how much power do they need ?? I don't know much about the brand as I'm a wetsounds guy but here is a link so you can see the speakers I'm talking about and maybe give some input thanks

Specs on them say 250 watts max so probably 125 watts rms??? Those are almost the same retail price as rev 10s and can only take about a 1/4 of the power. Hook them up to an amp and see how they sound I guess. By the way I've never heard of the brand...

I would like to throw an Arc audio KS300.4 bridged for 350 watts each at them just looking for someone who knows something about them to chime in. I am hoping that like my wetsounds they will take more power than what they are rated for. They seem very well built I just know nothing about them and don't want to blow them before I give them to my Bro
