Just throw it dude, what ever feels most comfortable. Are you talking w2w or surface?

Toe side Front side.. Your body naturally wants to open up and makes this an easy first 180...

My first w2w was hs switch to ts. I practiced switch riding for a while and 1 wake 180s first.

1st u must be able to do a bunny hop 180. U can try ts 180 over the wake and it will be easy to land, but hard to go w2w. On ur hs 180 it will be easier to clear the wake, but harder to land. I would recomend the hs 180 cuz thats what i did 1st.

I'm trying the same thing Dan. I've been doing ts fs regular and switch 1 wake and occasionally w2w only because it always seemed more natural to land heel side. I can get w2w on hs fs all the time, but only land them 50% of the time. Usually I slide out heel side, but I'm getting more consistent (last time out 3 out of 4 on last set.)

Thanks a bunch guys this is all really great advice. Yesterday i just picked the ts fs and went for it. it felt pretty good i just kept sliding out the front. hopefully i can stick that soon and then start on other 180's and grabbing then grabbing them.

TS FS is easiest, but to learn any, try out in the flats first then take them inside out, then finally w2w.

ts fs 1 wake 180s are easy so are bunny hop 180s from your heelside. When you are standing around do little bunny hop 180s, helps alot and you look cool. I've started doing hs fs 180 off the start up roller, those are cool too.

I tried for the first time last weekend and landed my first 180. I ride with my left foot forward and came toeside into the wake. I landed with my right foot forward. I think that's TS FS? I am getting good jumping HS and was sick of going all the way across the wake to jump again and decided to master a little TS180 so I could get twice the number of jumps in.
