Hey guys, just wondering if anyone could help me out with finding a good waterproof connector i can use to finish up the wiring of my tower. Looking for a 6-8 pole connector that is fairly low profile.

Like i said this will be for the wiring in my tower and getting it inside the boat.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Check out Neutrik SpeakON connectors. I'm pretty sure they have a waterproof connector. You can purchase them online or from a Pro-Audio retailer (DJ store, Music store etc)

Pretty sure that the Neutrik is not waterproof but the do make a good connector.

Check out the deutsch connectors.

You guys think this connector will work?

I already have this connector it just does not seem very water proof IMO. Granted this will not be underwater by any means but it is on the outside of the boat and is bound to get wet fairly often.

Does anyone else have experience or pictures of that connector installed?

For our use, most good quality connectors with a decent amount of dilectric grease will perform well. I really like the deutsch connectors, but they may need a special tool to install.

I've used liquid tite nylon strain relief fittings on many boats to get the tower wiring into the boat when going through the tower wasn't possible. I run all the wiring into heat shrink where it comes out of the tower, push the shring up into the tower, shrink it and then through the strain relief and into the hull. I make all the connections in the hull that way there's no chance of them getting wet.
