Liquid Force Alphas

I current ride 04 ultras and used to ride super suctions and have always been a fan of non lace bindings. Well, now with the ultras I'm gettin so tired of it being a pain to get them off. My question is to people who have ridden both Ultras and alphas. Do they feel similar when on the foot and torqued down? Which ones do you like better? Also, do the alphas also have that nice new material on the inside of the binding? None of my local shops stock alphas, so demoing is not an option. Thanks

I've ridden/owned, the '03 ultras, '04 ultras, and '04 Alphas. I had Larges in all of them. I Probably could have gotten away with wearing mediums in the '03 Ultras, and the Alphas. My favorite are the '04 Ultras. They are a little more difficult to get in and out of compared to the Alphas but the feeling of the ultras just doesn't compare to anything else. I had my '03 Ultras tightened down really hard, and I was thinking about tightening the Alphas, but I just said forget and traded them for '04 Ultras. The Alphas and the Ultras feel completely different. The Alphas do have the Lycra on the inside.

Ultras will possibly hold you in a little tighter in the heel area depending on the shape of your foot. The Alphas do have the new inner liner, and are very easy to get on and off (also very comfortable). The Exos give a little tighter hold than the Alphas, but are a little more stiff. I'd pick Alphas for the ease of entry and exit, comfort, and excellent price, myself. Let me know if you need any more info or prices.

Alpha's are great for the $$$. Easy to get in and out of and comfy. I personally can't stand ultra's for how hard they are to get in and out of. They are completely different bindings. Like mentioned earlier, the ultras are gonna much much tighter in the heel.
