Homade balast

I have a 97 Malibu Sunsetter and want to put a working accesory switch opperated ballast system in and was hoping someone out there has already done this and could shout out some pointers on things to watch out for, tips, ect...

Somewhere in the wakeworld.com archives there's an article on building your own ballast. I can't remember what it was under. You'll have to search.
