My buddy, Brett, is a welding (and polishing) fool and was kind enough to build this beauty for me. Paul O'Brien was kind enough to donate the boards (no they aren't rideable). It's incredibly comfy and quite the conversation piece. Thanks Brett!

Here is one that I made a few years ago. I have two sitting in my garage that my wife is begging me to get rid of. I will sell them if someone wants them. They are similar to this one, but the boards are different. One is two 2002 hyperlite belmonts and the other is made of two 2004 liquid force substances. These also include cup holders in the arm rests. Send me an email (robert@happytats.com) and I will send some pics.

don't know? I don't remember how much it cost me. Just getting my wife off my back is the main goal. What would they be worth?
Old     (mucktoerider)      Join Date: Jan 2007       02-19-2008, 6:51 AM Reply
robert...you really have something here...You should make them and sell them. I would buy!
Old     (cocheese)      Join Date: Jul 2004       02-19-2008, 7:04 AM Reply
I tried a few years ago, but had no success. Plus, I didn't have a good source for boards and was buying them on ebay. I would love to start building them again, but don't feel like spending the hours on ebay searching for steals on wakeboards. I also got married and she kept a closer eye on the funds. Her budget didn't include wake swings!

Dave that's sick! And it looks super comfy!

One quick question, did your buddy Brett make the entire frame out of standard aluminum or steel?
Old     (cool232)      Join Date: Jan 2006       02-19-2008, 7:29 AM Reply
Did you come up with a price yet? Is the wakeboarder inlay? great work.
Old     (wakereviews)      Join Date: Sep 2006       02-19-2008, 7:45 AM Reply
Ok, since no price is listed... how about 100.00 and i pay shipping?
Old     (cocheese)      Join Date: Jul 2004       02-19-2008, 7:48 AM Reply
I will sell them for $200 plus shipping. The wakeboarder on the arm rest is two different colors of stain. This is one of the first ones I did. The two that I am selling have cup holders built into the armrest and the wakeboarder has an airbrushed drop shadow. When I get home tonight, I will take some pictures and email anyone who is interested. Like I said before, I am selling them to get them out of my way and more importantly, to get my wife off my back!

I'm pretty sure it's steel cuz I would think aluminum would fold up under my 200 lbs.! I'll double check and let you know.

I'll take one of those bench swings please.

Is it just me or wouldn't that bench be killer strung up on THE WAKE WORLD GHOST???? at least temporary... or maybe not, cant risk damaging the tower.

It's not just you. I might have to try that!! :-)
Old     (pete_moss)      Join Date: Sep 2007       02-19-2008, 12:05 PM Reply
I'm not into building them and I know nothing of the costs but why wouldn't you just make the people who wanted them supply the boards? Most of them would probably want their old boards used for sentimental value anyway. Just a thought....I'm sure I'm not the first to think of that.

That is really a sharp swing. If you were not so far away I might just load up my ladder tonight.

If you do string it up on the ghost Dave, make sure you post the picks

I need one with some heavy duty chains...I'm a pretty sturdy feller who would need the extra support.

I built a coffee table out of a board that I had handmade and it got ripped off at a local tourney. I was stupid and left it outside though.
Nice benches!

Wow, that looks great! I'm jealous. It is all aluminum so let's just hope it doesn't fold up on you. Funny thing is that I thought I had it done and Dave told me he wanted drink holders. How I made such an obvious design flaw is beyond me. Needless to say, it made too much sense not to put them on. Now I need to fab up a new seat mount for my X-30. It's too low and doesn't spin well. See ya williams', Brett
