Hi Guys,

I ride on a pretty weed infested lake so lake weekend i thought I'd pull the hose on the oil cooler to see if there were any weeds in there. There were a few but more worringly there was impeller pieces in there. So i removed the water pump (no fun on a v drive is it). The impeller was fine so the bits ,ust have been from the previous owner.

Any how today i launch and take the first run. After about 2 mins I can tell there isn't any water running through the exhausts as its noisy so i cut the engine. Its pretty hot and sizzling on the inlet manifold so i hope its all ok.

Anyhow i check all the hoses and they are fine, pull the outlet hose on the raw water pump and thats pumping water no problem but still the engine temp increases. I pulled the hose to the heater and ran at idle and that pumped water out fine but on putting it back and test running it i can here no flow through the exhausts and the temp gauge rises up again.

I'm thinking its maybe an air lock or something? Any ideas?
Tomorrow evening i will try running on te hose to see whats going on.
