I just bought my first wakeboard boat, a 2004 Malibu VLX Wakesetter with 130 hours and fully loaded. I paid $36,000. Did I get a good deal? What's your opinion about this boat?

If you already bought it, what does it matter what anyones opinion is? Do you like it? 36K is a steal.

u stole it, there are a few out there for 44-46, but you are in AR too. Things tend to be cheaper there I believe compared to CA.

The boat is awesome... you wont be disappointed. I love riding behind a Malibu. I think you got a very fair deal at $36K. Are you a newer wakeboarder or do you have some experience?

and post pics...

Congrats sounds like a good deal. Head on over to the malibucrew if you have any questions about maintenance or your boat.

Paul, it's quite common for someone to fear they didn't get a deal AFTER they buy something...luckily, in this case, I think Kenneth here got a very good deal. One nice thing, Kenneth, you're not going to need your boat anytime soon... you're set with a boat you can grow with... congratulations!

He was asking opinions on the boat. Not price. But thanks brian. I have never heard of buyers remorse before

I was searching for one a few months ago and almost paid 40k for one. You got a good deal on a sweet boat.

Paul,

I don't want to flame, but he also asked about the "deal" so I assumed he wanted opinions on the price/boat combination. Just trying to re-assure him that got a good deal on a great boat.

Kenneth,

The more you ride, the more you're going to like this boat. Malibu makes high-quality products, and you'll be able to get a world-class wake from that beast, so enjoy!
