proline sk / coated line question

So i got the new line and when i uncoiled it had a bunch of kinks in it. not a big deal i took it outside and hooked it to the ski pylon to straighten it out before we went to the lake. i lean against the rope and it seriously stretched out about another 5 feet! is this normal for a coated line?

I bought the Proline LG combo and I think it came with the SK line. Mine felt like it stretched for a little while. After a couple of sets it was all good though. I had never had that happen with my previous non stretch lines so I was confused too
